Closest to sights of Wells Grey, no TV, 20 min drive for cell signal, great "off the grid" feel. Friendly lodge with character cabins, small porch with rocking chair, great views. Fabulous log cabin units, lovely front deck, true wilderness, bug spray needed. Excellent meals at historic lodge, substantial portions, high prices offset. Staff greets and helps, incredible display of hummingbirds.

We were thrilled with the boundless winter activities offered at Helmcken Falls Lodge. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and personal service made us feel right at home. The lodge itself had a simple charm that we appreciated, with clean and comfortable rooms providing a great night's sleep. The spectacular views of unique ice formations at Helmcken, Dawson, and Mushbowl falls were perfect for photography enthusiasts like us. And the best part? The lodge is located in the heart of Wells Gray park, offering endless opportunities for groomed and backcountry cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. We even encountered moose and wolf tracks during our outdoor adventures. we highly recommend Helmcken Falls Lodge for a winter getaway in the wilderness.

The location of this hotel was perfect, as it was close to the most interesting attractions, such as Helmken Falls. Additionally, there was a normal supermarket nearby and easy access to local waterfalls. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
No complaints.

Spent a lovely New Year in a beautiful lodge. The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious and complete with everything we needed. The view was breathtaking, with access to a hiking trail and amazing waterfalls. The hot tub was a fantastic amenity that helped us relax after a long walk. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast and hot chocolate that warmed us up during the snowy mornings. It's a perfect location in the middle of nature, but still close enough to get supplies from nearby shops.
The restaurant was overpriced and did not meet our expectations. The food was just okay, and the service was slow and disorganized.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming lodge nestled in the Canadian outback. The rustic buildings scattered around the site gave it an authentic pioneer feel, but the accommodations were surprisingly comfortable. The bed in my cabin room was cozy and the private bathroom was well-maintained. What impressed me the most was the wonderful view from my balcony, allowing me to soak in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Another highlight was the breakfast, which had a good variety of options and was included in the price. The hotel's location in the provincial park was a definite advantage, offering easy access to outdoor activities like horse riding, golf, and rafting. it was an experience that added a unique touch to my trip.
All was great, no complaints here.
